Supporting Ukraine with a $25,000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross

At HomeEquity Bank, when we say we’re here to support people and communities, we mean it, and we’ll continue to do so in any way we can. That’s why we’ve made a $25,000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross’ Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal, in support of those affected by ongoing events in Ukraine and bordering countries.
This donation continues our steadfast commitment to organizations going above and beyond for those most vulnerable, and will help support immediate and ongoing relief efforts and other critical humanitarian activities in Ukraine and surrounding countries.
HomeEquity Bank will also match any individual donations made by employees to the Canadian Red Cross until March 18th.
We encourage all Canadians who’d like to contribute to the Canadian Red Cross relief efforts do so online at www.redcross.ca, or by calling 1-800-418-1111. The Government of Canada will match 100 per cent of donations made by every Canadian between February 24, 2022, and March 18, 2022, up to a maximum of $10 million.
